Hey There! Yesterday was the absolute peak of my week. If you have followed my shop/blog for a while, you probably read my Leap of Faith Story. I posted it on my old blog on blogger, which I tried to track down with no such luck. Recently, I decided it was time to share that story on a larger level. Sharing my story absolutely frightens me. I have always cared too much of what people thought about me and revealing intimate details of my journey put me in this vulnerable place that is extremely uncomfortable. Even so, I have felt God challenging my heart lately to do more of that.. being vulnerable so that others can be encouraged by my transparency.
When I quit my 9-5 job to pursue my own business, I made a commitment to God to be obedient to him. With so many unknowns in life, I knew the only way to be taken care of and completely fulfilled was to live by faith, not by fear. Living out the path God set before me, has been one of the hardest, most rewarding things I've done. I am not just talking about living day-to-day. I am talking about submitting my life to God's will...completely. I am talking about living for and through him. Being obedient when he calls me to do something that I would otherwise run from. I share 7 truths to keep in mind when taking your own leap of faith in this post. These are things I learned along the way, that I just couldn't wait to share with you.
The response from the post has been blowing my mind. The fact that my story touched any of you is so rewarding, but the ones who have emailed asking to know more? I just can't even describe the gratitude I feel to be on this path... I can't wait to email all of you back!
